In-Person Oil painting workshop with Jodi Lee. Light dinner during demo included. 8x8 prepared panel and 5x7 prepared watercolor paper provided. Bring your oils and brushes (all sizes), and pallette knife. NO linseed, liquin or turpentine please. In this class we paint with minimal added mediums. I recommend Walnut oil for odorless and toxin free medium and clean up. Alkyd premixed in your oils is ok. Feel free to bring your own panels or canvas if you would like to paint on a different size. Bring your sketchbook if you would like.
Reference pictures provided and/or paint from life with pumpkin still-life set up.
This is a wonderful 3 hour class of painting for beginner to more practiced artists.
Simplified into 3 main ideas:
-finding form with sketch
- color
-narrative with design/composition
